個人簡介
I graduated in higher diploma in Youth Counseling Program of Lingnan Institute Further Education.It is a major in communication and counselling skills as well as adventure-based skills in youth services.I have developed an understanding of the intellectual, emotional, moral and physical changes that occur in adolescence. I think i can learn well planning and organizing skills and interpersonal relationship because if 3-year working experience(including full time and part time) and 4-year voluntary work with leading position in youth field. When I start to work at Mother’s Choice,I am more sure that I want to study in social worker.I has been working at Mother ‘s Choice Child Care Home as a Child Care Assistant at Baby Care Session for one year.My duties involved take care for babies,and have to communicate with different parties such as social workers,adoption parents and volunteers,so that we can provide the best care for the children who are awaiting for adoption and family reunion.I am not only to take care babies,I am also need to know how to communicate with them and teach them knowledge.Moreover, I have to coordinate with different parties such as social workers,unmarried pregnant girls,volunteers and nurses that we can help the babies and young girls who faces an unanticipated pregnancy. And that we are here to help, counsel, teach them how to look after their baby and loving support.According to this working experience, I learn different skills to solve difficulties and enhance myself working ability.I can learn more how to cooperate with social workers that how to provide a residential home for babies, toddlers and children with special needs who are lovingly cared for while waiting and finding for their forever family.Besides,I have more chances to counsel,understand and communicate with the young girls.They are facing crisis pregnancies by providing loving and non-judgmental services with a holistic approach so that they can make responsible choices.
