個人簡介
I am an experienced tutor who has worked in the teaching industry for more than 10 years. I am confident in tutoring students and dealing with students with special education needs and making sure to teach them to love one another, have good, strong morals, and be respectful. As working with children is my strongest passion, I am currently looking for a children-related job. I value creativity and bring it into everything that I do, including party-planning, writing books, running playgroups, and raising my own 2 children, who both grew to be successful in their studies – such that one is studying in USA now and is receiving a 4-year full scholarship. Since I immigrated to Canada in 1996, I began to read many books about early childhood education. This transformed into a passion for party-planning for children when I returned to Hong Kong, and I have since then designed and organized interactive parties for many families. In 2006, I released a book published by HK Economic Press, titled “1000 幼兒創意百變遊戲”, which contains various simple yet creative games that I have designed for parents to play with their children. This book was recommended by 6 famous educators in Hong Kong and sold 1000 copies. Through inventive games and engaging conversations, I inspire children to be creative and expressive, so that they learn to think outside the box. In my experiences with emotionally unstable, autistic, or misbehaving children, I have been able to grasp their attention and guide them to complete homework. Students have often had a very enjoyable time working with me throughout my jobs as Teaching Assistant, Tutor, Playgroup Teacher, and more, especially since I am quick to make up educational games to capture their attention. I believe my creativity, fun and energetic personality, and passion for children will be well-suited for this job.
